Chapter 15

Krishna loved to drive fast and was only thrilled to have a car with the word POLICE pasted on his car's rear mirror. He drove on the DND expressway listening to his favorite CD of Kishore Kumar's Golden Hits, but his mind was not there it wandered around the little experience he had that day and was quite convinced that it was the best sensation he had ever felt and was amazed that he had never done it with anyone before. He felt like a tiger freshly released from captivity and he was ready for the world of sex.
He reached NOIDA in about one hour and stopped to the nearest theka and grabbed four bottles of Godfather Beer and one Thunderbolt Beer for that extra kick. He loved doing this every time he drove around in NOIDA and he enjoyed the freedom he got in his uniform.Krishna had a very extraordinary childhood born in a poor Brahmin family of a priest who had two wives, he was the son of the second wife and his father had a daughter from the first wife, his sister was fifteen years elder to him and was in eleventh grade when he was born. Seema his sister was the one who raised him his mother never had the time for the child she never wanted to marry the priest as she was already in love with a muslim carpenter but she couldn't marry him because of her family's pressure. She stuck to having an affair with him and till date she isn't sure if Krishna is the priest's son or of her lover.
Seema gave her what her mother reserved only for her lover, she gave him her milk and she raised him as her own child and till this date she has never married and lives with Krishna in his new two-bedroom hall kitchen which his over-zealous brother had acquired by taking a contract to kill a local drug dealer who had grown to big for his boots and was trying to sell his own maal on the street.
The flat did not have much furniture as it had just been two years since Krishna had joined the force and also he had to save up fifty lakhs to buy his new posting in Rajouri Garden. She had kept a fast on every Thursday for her brother as there was another candidate for the post with an SC/ST quota and a few lakhs more , but the man who had given him the contract was quite happy with the job he did and wanted him in this market where his business was quite flourishing. Once a refugee camp , Rajouri Garden was fast becoming the hub of markets for the new upcoming middle-class who had money and had a taste for everything they saw on T.V.Drugs and Malls were the two most prosperous businesses of Delhi and where better than a market engulfed with Nouveau Riche Teenagers with a handsome pocket money and a taste for fine quality hash, weed and the most surprising part was that the better quality products like Mallana and Afghan did far better than the cheaper ones even though many trade pundits had imagined it the other way around. The Isrealis were useless and seasonal and they could be sold any crap with a mixture of dhoop and they only mattered for the illegal foreign exchange and since the dollar was crashing the rupee market had more potential.
Krishna was a smart man and his B.Com helped him understand the economies of the black market which was far more complex than any Financial Indices ever to be created by the MBA Class . He was the financial planner for the cops and the home ministry in particular which was quite happy in gaining through all sources. His connections with the MBA Class and the Mafia made him a popular figure in the department , mostly hated by peers and greatly valued by seniors. He called himself as the LIC Agent of the Black Market.
